OCNS will seek accreditation from the National Board of Technical Education (NBTE) to grant Higher National Diploma (HND) to students who complete this program. The program will be a direct uninterrupted 4-year course. Upon completion of an HND in Nursing, graduates will be eligible to write the registered nursing exam to qualify as a Professional Registered Nurse. This diploma is equivalent to a Bachelor’s degree in the United States. Graduates of this program will be eligible to participate in the mandatory National Youth Service Corps (NYSC).
